Offshore Revalidation Requirements:

• Confirm 150 days of DP sea time/DP activities in the last 5 years.

• Complete required years an NI-approved Continuing Professional Development programme.

• Pass the NI Revalidation Online Exam (70% pass mark).   

Other Options

• • If you do not have the required minimum 150 DP sea time days, you must complete The Nautical Institute DP Revalidation Course.

If you have the required 150 days of DP sea time but still need to complete the additional CPD requirements, you can still submit your online application.

Once you have completed the payment, the indemnity letter will be sent to your email address.  The indemnity letter will be valid for 12-months to allow you to complete the remaining requirements. 

Your certificate will remain valid during this time.
